Bockarie Albert Kalokoh currently serves as Deputy Minister of Finance II of the Republic of Sierra Leone. His responsibilities include, among others, the formulation and implementation of Public Financial Management Reforms, aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the public financial management system in the country, improve Revenue Generation, Debt Management and review of the Financial Sector using Private Sector Experience.
He brings enormous experience to the Ministry of Finance, following his over 25 years of wealth of experience in the banking and financial sector in Sierra Leone and also as a Financial Analyst at KPMG in Lagos, Nigeria.
His rich academic background includes BSC with Honours in Accounting from Fourah Bay College-University of Sierra Leone, an MBA in Leadership from Jack Welsh Management Institute-USA and currently a candidate for Ph.D. in Business Administration from Walden University – USA.
Before he was appointed, Mr. Kalokoh was Deputy Managing Director/ Acting Managing Director at the Sierra Leone Commercial bank where he led the drive to the digital transformation and sustainability of the Bank.
